Went out to a favorite spot last night on the Pemigewasset River and realized I had never noticed this epic giant American Basswood tree Splotches of golden hour light through the canopy illuminating perfect branches in full flower, all I could do was stare 🥹🥰🍃🌳

These two ornaments are now named Don and Louise after the original owners of our house I've been too depressed for a Christmas tree for the last two years - this year I mentioned their daughter in law's tree farm and a bald eagle swooped the living room window at that moment 👀🎄🦅❤️ Enjoy, you two!
