When they say Messi is the biggest football player in the world, I didn't think they meant this.

These are easily the best, most decadent, most apple-y apple fritters I have ever had. If you're driving on the 401 east of Toronto, and you see a giant apple building, pull off and go to there. I can't believe I haven't until now, as many times as I've passed it. Lots of other awesome food, too.

I was explaining to my kids recently about how much I cherished this first meeting of Superman and Spider-man when I was a child (recent reprint pic here), and that I knew who Gerry Conway was from that moment. His writing has long been central to my comic love and some of my favorite characters.
