Another good overlap of #wipwednesday and #showmeyourknits as I continue working on the Aigues top. The half twisted rib and cable/lace section is a lot of texture. #knit 🧶
Goldenrod season is here! This is the first year my S. elongata is flowering and it's fun to see the long horn bees are already on it. The only goldenrod I grow that the insects don't love is a freebie that I suspect is an east coast or Midwest species. 🌱
#bulbwatch I hate how much I like this "red" lily. I'm not big on pink in the garden but this smells so nice. 🌱 #bloomscrolling
It's Tanith Lee so I would have bought it anyway. However, how could I pass up something so fantastic at the bookstore.
A note on cover art. I will absolutely read a book based on the cover. For example, if I see a Kinuko Craft illustration, I will be reading that book. I like her art enough, my dad bought a book of her art for me. Who could blame me, her work is insane.
The black cap raspberry freezer jam may be a portal to another world.
The difference is pretty subtle on the Monica manzanita. Much more dramatic on the cross but I didn't know what I was getting on that one. Same with the bark. 🌱
Today seems like a good day for a little Manzanita pruning. I just want to see a little more bark. Or any bark since the gray toned one isn't showing any. 🌱
An overlap of #wipwednesday and #showmeyourknits. I'm working on the Aigues top in Shine sport. I love a bright green and I think it will look really nice. Hopefully a quick enough knit I can wear it this summer. 🧶
Violet, sorry got sidetracked. Many shades many forms #bloomscrolling 🌱
Seems like a good morning to ROYGBV the garden. I like my garden like I like my country, as a big melting pot of colors, shapes, and textures. Starting with reds. #bloomscrolling 🌱

Very good black knight scabiosa year. Look at all those developing flowers. #bloomscrolling 🌱
I'm crap at painting my toenails but I like the overall effect. It really gives, "chunks of sealant peeling free in algae."
Okay, less literal than the first thought but I have a color that hits in the range so I may alternate toes.
Big fan of Berkeya purpura for a gnarly goth garden vibe. Same with Cupid's dart seed heads. This is an arrangement I made last fall for funsies
