Every city's got an ominous megastructure. I thought Portland didn't, but then I remember it just got built.
Name a film with a title that is a full sentence.
I have a big hole in my knowledge of pop culture from the late 90s to mid-aughts, so I'm sitting here surprised that the guy from the Taster's Choice ads meant so much to folks.
I didn't see this one on your site, from Mr. Invincible by Pascal Jousselin (the whole series would fit, I just keep this one on my drive)
Without saying your age, post your favorite film that released the year you turned 18
My book club is reading Rare Flavours by @therightram.bsky.social & Filipe Andrade. Attendance has been flagging, but I was inspired to make some paal payasam to entice the others. I used maple syrup as the sweetener, to add my story to the recipe, and it turned out great.
y'know what would be helpful for finding boids, dontcha?
Are you sure this is a Harry Potter movie, Dan? It's such a Harry Potter movie, it has two Harry Potters in it (and an Anne Potter and a Wendy Potter). So it's twice the Harry Potter movie than those other ones.
Time to rewatch the only Harry Potter movie I liked.
not necessarily what you mean, but this always pops into my head when I hear people talk about utilizing the medium of comics
Saw this at a local coffee shop and immediately thought of @keezyyoung.bsky.social's Hello Sunshine.
Ludmilla habitat in book one, located in deep space, colors washed out in low light vs. Luna habitat in the current arc, brightness overwhelming detail.
...that made the whole movie theatre feel like it was shaking. It was brilliant. Of course, at the end of the movie, when it went by again I realized it was the F train, not the film. In my defense, the train first went by in the opening montage when this alarm clock was going off serendipity!)...
reference for those who need it:
This panel alone is worth a million billion woims
After watching How to Get To Heaven from Belfast, I decided to give Derry Girls a try. It's the rare popular comedy that I find funny (my sense of humor is... off), but I think I've finally found a TV character I can really relate to:
Lookit what my spouse just made for me! #FMLComix @kellysue.bsky.social
I'm not saying I'll never do cosplay, I'm just saying that if I do, it'll be something like me dressing up as Abe Slamkowski from Black Hammer and it won't be all that different except for the mustache.
Are you Secretly Canadian? The Canadian citizenship by descent laws changed in December 2025. Many people are now Canadian w/o even knowing it. I made a mini-zine to help people get started on the road from Secretly Canadian to Officially Canadian. download it at secretlycanadian.neocities.org
a friend did the art & layout and I really dig the title type
I made a zine! Tywyll : An American Monolinguist's Guide to Welsh Language Crime TV Ordering details soon, official release* is Feb. 1. People I follow can message me for a freebie. PHYSICAL COPIES ONLY (* official release = date I'm hoping to have printed and stapled enough copies)
Got @kellysue.bsky.social to sign an issue of FML for me and then absentmindedly tossed it right into the bag. Frankly, it's perfect now.
I've thought about Dilbert more than I've ever wanted to. As great as schadenfreude is, and I don't begrudge anyone for having it, I just want to call your attention to how @cashbrowns.bsky.social is killing it with Nancy. Mir velen zey iberleben. www.gocomics.com/nancy/2026/0...
Something's happening. Announcement soon. I'll give you a hint. It's a zine. I made a zine. I'll tell you more later. If I follow you and you want a copy of my zine, send me a dm (or I guess they're "chats" here? whatever happened to /privmsg?)
I wasn't sure the delineation bet/visited and stayed, but took it to mean slept there at least one night. The non-coastal West is mostly from a bus trip I did in HS. (OK to ND might be blue from it too) I've also stayed in BC, AB, ON & QC (and maybe passed through NB). Sorry Manitoba, some day.
