We are getting closer to hatch day! The chrysalis is increasingly transparent. You can see a tiny hint of orange now.
Fingers crossed that it waits to hatch until I'm back home. My spouse is keeping an eye on it for now and sending updates (he's invested in it now!)
While we are waiting for the hatch, here is a baby photo from one of the new caterpillars. Not even as long as my pinky nail! Clearly, someone has laid eggs in my garden and I couldn't be more pleased.
