Trofim Denisovich Lysenko, known in our circle as "Exhibit A as to why you don't put a Son of Ether in charge of things'
Good, it's working. The amount of effort and resources required to banish a character from all media in the present day to the point that they never existed isn't something we'd care to expend twice.
I am the eye in the sky looking at you I can read your mind I am the maker of rules, dealing with fools I can cheat you blind
Memo to Construct members: Do NOT run the dishwasher instructions through the memetic degeneration process.
*angelic chorus by Enya or Enigma or some shit. Kazoo solo if neither are available*

Somebody's been messing with temporal physics, and that someone needs to clean up their mess before the Pan-Dimensional Corps and their Chrononauts have to get involved. I'm looking at you, Virtual Adepts.

Have you been letting an Ecstatic talk you into trying one of their special brownies again?
//Yet another is 24. The late 90s were full of this stuff, and once 2001 rolled around, the market for it exploded (if you'll forgive the term).
//There's a couple of shows that gave me the "Factions within an existing conspiracy fighting each other" idea. One is Nikita.
//The show Warehouse 13 is basically a primer in how to run a good-guy Technocracy campaign, where the idea that maybe it isn't a good idea to have all of this magic stuff just be out there is taken as a given.
//The Illuminatus Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert J. Shea was a major influence on my understanding of paradigms and how they work, as were other books by Robert Anton Wilson in particular.
Technocracy Reloaded is a worthy follow-up to the original, and I like the post-Anomaly progressive angle. I'm mostly going with the "Dimensional Anomaly happened but recently started clearing" take, as well as variants on a couple of the story hooks.
//Here's just a few of the influences on my take on the Technocracy in general and the character behind this account in particular. First and most obviously is Mage's Guide To The Technocracy, simply my favorite ttrpg sourcebook of all time. (more on that in the following post)

"Can't you see that you're not making the Celestial Chorus better? You're making the Virtual Adepts worse!"
Get a Mage and some spirits and no one is having a good one.
