This is why you interact with the indie devs (and why devs should interact with community via social media). Point out a problem, dev sees potential problem, dev fixes problem. Indie devs are walking the path of previous devs and improving it, brick by brick. Invest in indie gaming.

That's fair enough, less of a moral dilemma and more of a "here's a big apparent visual that shows this shouldn't go out" stance. Much more reasonable! I was always preferential to the really old graphic failure black and white texture myself. You can see it in the graphics of this old ps1 game.
