For many years, we have watched Bald Eagles Jackie and her partner, Shadow, parent and tend to their young. A special camera recorded births, milestones, and their lives. Jackie passed away this morning. She was being cared for due to anemia. She was such a great mother, and she will be missed.
This is exactly what every news outlet should do. I'm surprised but happy that CNN had such strength! Thank you for the courage you always show, Ms. Collins.

1976 was groovy. 2026 is not. We are going to wait a few years to celebrate our country. By then, there will be a decent administration, and rather than celebrating crap, we'll celebrate a better future for all Americans.
This is our sweet little Pittunia. We found each other just over 2 years ago at the Humane Society Rescue. We tend to spoil her, and she tends to spoil us. Today, May 20th, is National Rescue Dog Day! Have a great one, as you can see, Pittunia is!!!
May 20 is National Rescue Dog Day. This sweet 6-month-old puppy was found in dangerous traffic in front of our home. We took care of her until we got her safely to a rescue. She was an amazing pup. Sadly, we left her. Two days later, she was rescued. Our wish is that all the amazing animals are!!
We found her in traffic. We brought her to safety. At first, she was shy, but soon she became a sweet, affectionate puppy. She's less than 1 year old and loved playing in our front yard. She showered me with kisses. If you're in the Los Angeles area, they named her Betty. She's a sweet little girl.

March is Pet Memorial Month. Our beloved Rex and Sandy were with us since they were tiny babies. It never dawned on us that they would be gone one day. Although this is Pet Memorial Month, we think of them every day and how much we will always love them. Have a Meaningful Pet Memorial Month!
