found the first Nala Sinephro album on vinyl at a cafe and bought it. kind of forgot Continuum wasn't her first record. anyway it's pretty good. also Centipede Hz is still pretty not great unfortunately
Bonny Bear LP2 turns 15 today. putting my cards on the table: depending on what day you ask me this is my favorite record of all time. an aesthetic miracle. difficult to convey the way it still feels like musically anything can happen when I listen to this
I was gonna caption this "incredible things are happening at my local sev elev" but this was actually a tremendous disappointment in both texture and flavor
Definitely not the ideal era Mastodon for me to pay goofus money to go see but fortunately it is very close to the ideal era to see the other two
watching a youtube video about the difficulties of translating kansai-ben
it's been a while since I was really delighted by a new TMBG album but I am halfway through this thing and it's already up there with the best of their 21st century output
my "<5 play count" filter on plexamp is yielding some weird results. Caspian, Beverly, MA's finest, you are the "that was fine" of the week
tyler durden voice if it's the first spring day over 55 you HAVE to listen to animal collective
had a real powerful run of "records I haven't listened to since 2010, if ever" this week
on the one hand, I think we can all agree this is not the most exciting final round, and the bracket absolutely should have been seeded differently. on the other hand, this is fucking hilarious and as a reader, hater or both how could you not love it
new cafe/restaurant opening up in town has a pair of names that can only be described as "prog rock concept album duology"
thinking about how sick it would be if this band got to make another record. or honestly if anyone picked up where they left off
