Runs Biscuit: Advocacy, community and support for bi+ people in the UK. Not interested in middle class comfort or correcting my dyspraxic typos. Very interested in amateur academics (kidlit and social history) and lovely shoes. linktr.ee/we_are_biscuit
Adventures in renting. Found this today on top of the kitchen cabinets.
Shocked to discover that every single person in the 32 seats of this tube carriage is disabled, for that is the only reason not to Stand For The Badge.
Poems on the Underground is one of, possibly my absolute, favourite things about London.
Would you like to see my latest dyspraxic fail? Geoffrey Boycatt's new nametag is comically 1970s disco stu medallion sized.
David Hockney died and I'm unexpectedly extremely upset about it. We are both from the same set of villages in Bradford. At the top of my street was a fish and chip shop with a drawing by him done in 1954, still hanging there. They must've known what it was worth but it never moved.
Geoffrey Boycatt, seen here attempting to escape the carrier, has got cystitis because the weather changed. What a diva.
I bought reusable fabric #BWithTheT banners. Behemoth had opinions.
Hang on. Could it be that it's not going to be that bad after all?
IT'S HEEEEEEERRRRREEE Cannot wait to be fully hulked out by how awful it is.
Misogynist tells me people like me are awful and they want to stay away from me. Still follows.
Not sure what's going on on Filey beach. Assume harbinger of apocalypse, or razor clams.
You know how I love buying vintaaaage bisexual books to be mad at? Finally tracked down a copy of this. OBVIOUSLY it will never be as bad as the book I annotated with expletives and hexes on the author(Loving them Both by Colin MacInnes) but Im looking forward to hating it.
Bloody love a quiche. Partner will not eat shortcrust so puff it must be, and honesty it's not a downgrade. This one is ham, cheddar and onion, for @kittenparades.bsky.social. I also made spinach, pea and parmesan which is currently baking.
Oh the weather outside is frightful But my fan is so delightful Outside I refuse to go, Let it blow let it blow let it blow
Spotted this outside Tooting station. Low on a wall, looks like its been there a while as it's pretty weathered. It's definitely a humanoid figure, with two birds on its head, prominent ears and maybe a bindi? So perhaps religious in nature?
