Well, it took a day but the Canadian wildfire smoke has made its way here to Central NJ. It's overcast this morning and the smoke is making it even moreso, as you can see the sun fighting to try to break through.
Ugh. Brings back memories of the summer of 2023. So far, it hasn't worked its way down to where I am in Central NJ - yet. 🫤
My problem with Schumer is that I don't believe he's a wartime consigliere.
Maybe they'd consider a compromise candidate, someone every lobster fan from Maine could agree on. 🤔
He's got a pretty good argument to be in the Hall of Fame. Side note: That issue of SI is dated July 4, 1983. That day, I was watching the Yankee game on TV as Dave Righetti threw a no-hitter against the Red Sox. That's future Hall of Famer Wade Boggs striking out to end it.
