1st annual high times cannabis cup in NJ last nite on steel pier in Atlantic City was really well done. Lots of community feeling. Music and rides. And just a puff fest. People have NOT lost interest in rolling and smoking joints

Cafe SoHo. East oak lane/olney. Phila. Garlic soy left, spicy right. Last time I was here I was with Meearf and Felicified and we went to see D’Angelo at the Keslwick. 2015. Wings still solid.
Jack’s Place, Tacony, Phila. (Spots in this neighborhood lay on an olive tapenade and chipped sharp provo for bite).
20 years across the river from Phila and last nite got to cavalry community center on 47th/Baltimore to see TKAAT. Literally been on Same block 25 times never knew the place existed. Punkyhipsterweirdo intersection point. Phila u continue to reveal yourself.
Welch and Rawlins “reckoning” at the cap last nite was soul soothing. So well done. Lovely mix. Played w care and precision. They were surprised by the classic northeast nyc metro reception - and seriously low % of chompers. Well done ppl!!

Speaking of bagels…Waaaaaay before the meatpacking district was bougie, like 89-92 era…when we’d head back to NJ we’d hit this spot on 14th/9th up 2am & get something to nosh / take the stink off us. Was a drag queen clubhouse in the wee hours, always something popping off. RIP the “old New York”
Salba, wheeler, upland square/combi, 1979. Innate style, balls of steel. Note the amount of vert

My OG fave every time. I have the most hideous condiment addiction along with Gatorade. I need certain flavors to go w certain things.
