We believe in the power of together. A world where everyone can be part of the clean energy generation.
Tonight's eclipse is a rare and striking reminder of our reliance on the sun – and its growing role in powering our everyday lives 🌘
Can't wait to see the blades start spinning at Whitelaw Brae wind farm! As well as generating heaps of clean power, we're committed to ensuring the project benefits local people too.
Together we’re giving more organisations across the UK the opportunity to benefit from access to cleaner, cheaper, power on site ☀️ Find out more 👇 www.thriverenewables.co.uk/news/2026/07... #SolarPower
Whitelaw Brae is starting to look like a wind farm... 🤩 Key components have arrived on site, and the towers are starting to go up. At 57MW, this is Thrive’s biggest project yet!
And that’s a wrap! #CommunityEnergyFortnight once again celebrating the people energising their neighbourhood 💡 If you're curious about the growing #communityenergy movement, head over to @communityenergyengland.org to find out more. #CEF2026 #UpTheEnergy

Cleaner, cheaper, closer to home – is community energy a local solution to global energy shocks? 📽️ @communityenergyengland.org @uptheenergyuk.bsky.social @cepathways.bsky.social @bhesco.bsky.social #CommunityEnergyFortnight #CommunityEnergy #UpTheEnergy
Brilliant to visit Ambition Community Energy wind turbine with Triodos Bank and see the story of the 100% community owned project in action. Thrive funded the construction of this 150m turbine which generates income for the local community in Lawrence Weston, Bristol to support local development.
Did you know that wind was the largest source of electricity in Britain last year? 💡 While the number of wind turbines installed globally rose by nearly a quarter. #GlobalWindDay #GWD26 #WindPower @windeurope.bsky.social
Brilliant to connect with other purpose driven businesses from Bristol and beyond at Purposefest yesterday- featuring nature walks, yoga and a delicious BBQ☀️ Great to discuss how B Corps can work together to widen social & environmental impact across different sectors @betterbusiness.bsky.social
Last year, our clean energy projects generated enough clean electricity to power over 40,000 homes – that’s a town the size of Southport! We continued delivering on our growth plan, including progressing construction of our biggest project yet.
2006 vs 2026–we've moved on but according to the Better Business Act, modern business law hasn't. We’re supporting their campaign to amend Section 172 of the Companies Act. This will legally require UK businesses to balance the long-term interests of people, planet, and profit @blabuk.bsky.social
From acquiring a 10MW solar farm to progressing development of our biggest project yet, we've been busy getting new sites into construction 🌍 Read our annual results highlights 👇 www.thriverenewables.co.uk/news/2026/06...
Recently our investment team swapped spreadsheets for spades during a day's volunteering for Ambition Lawrence Weston - the Bristol charity behind the ACE wind turbine which Thrive helped fund. Income from the turbine helps to support the charity’s work empowering and supporting local residents.
Key components touch down at Whitelaw Brae wind farm 🛠️ Blades, tower sections and more are currently being delivered to the site in Scotland, ready for the next stage of construction to begin. The 57MW wind farm is our biggest project yet. Can't wait to see the blades start spinning!
We’re committed to conserving & enhancing nature at our clean energy projects 🦋 Recently our Ops team got hands on with biodiversity measures at our Dunmow solar farm, preparing the soil and sowing the seeds for a new wildflower grassland habitat. #BiodiversityDay Video: Wychwood Biodiversity
Brilliantly busy first day at All Energy yesterday💡 Great to catch up with some familiar faces as well as making new connections across the sector. Looking forward to more insightful discussions today. You can find the Thrive team on stand D50 – hope to see you there!
Recently we went behind the scenes at the UK’s first deep geothermal power plant in Cornwall. As investors we're really proud to see the project in action - now generating the UK's first ever geothermal electricity ⚡
Huge thanks to everyone that supported our bond offer with @triodosuk.bsky.social www.thriverenewables.co.uk/news/2026/05... #crowdfund #renewables
Renewables generated over half of UK’s electricity last year, yet gas still sets the price most of the time. The government is now taking steps to change that. But how will it really work in practice, and who benefits? 👇 www.thriverenewables.co.uk/news/2026/04...
Our response to Government measures to break the link between gas and electricity prices 📢
Renewables are on the rise ⚡ Government’s UK energy trends 2025 are out 👇 #WindPower #SolarPower #RenewableEnergy
Much more than just megawatts ⚡️ Projects like this community-owned wind turbine in Kilbirnie give back to local people. At a time when clean, homegrown power is more important than ever. #communityenergy #cleanenergy #windpower @bettersocietycapital.com @communityenergyengland.org
Did you know that repowering could add around 690 MW of additional onshore wind capacity by 2035 if barriers are addressed? Looking forward to sharing insights on repowering at @regeninsight.bsky.social's event this week for the launch of their latest report 👇 www.regen.co.uk/events/a-sec...
It’s been a big week for solar ☀️ Record high set on Monday and raised on Tuesday, with 14.4GW of electricity generated in sunny spring weather. @neso-energy.bsky.social www.solarpowerportal.co.uk/solar-projec...
It’s the final countdown…. ⏰ Bond offer closes 16th April. Find out more 👇 www.triodoscrowdfunding.co.uk/invest/thriv... #crowdfund #renewables
@carbonbrief.org analysis reveals record wind and solar output avoided the need to import roughly 18 fully loaded tankers of liquified natural gas (LNG). Together, wind and solar generated 11 terawatt hours (TWh) of electricity in March, up a combined 28% - a new record. #windpower #solarpower
