I just realized that it's been a year since the big chop. I cut off 12 years of locs one year ago today. A few people are still mad about it, but I'm not dying of heat stroke so fuck them. I probably should cut it again. I've only cut it 3 times since then. This was a good length.
I've started another crochet project. I wasn't aware that I needed to but here we are. At least it's all scrap yarn. I'm aiming for a belted vest. If I have extra after my vision, I'll shoot for a matching bag.

So I sewed this knit cardigan/duster together just before National Burrito day last year and I made these covered buttons for it, but also a belt tie. And the belt tie was sufficient enough for it. Anyway the buttons are a 100% match for the cardigan I'm crocheting right now. This is suck a win.

I am three colors from the top of my last sleeve. Then it's on to ribbing. Why am I dragging ass on this project? Because my ribbing has been historically awful and I'm genuinely afraid I will mess it up. Also peep my problem stitch. I gave it a little place marker.
