Rearranging again. Every few months I unplug everything, move it around slightly and reconnect it all in a different way. It usually helps spark new ideas and try out new workflows

WTF? the song in question is a solo piano improvisation. no samples, no resemblance at all to that Madonna song. My options are: a) remove that song and reupload b) try with a different distributor
Borrowing my kid's Casiotone for some ambient explorations. A lot of the sounds are pretty cheesy but...you know...cheese can be pretty good sometimes.
Uploading my new album "Encoded" to my distributor today and I had the opportunity to hear a sample of their Mixea "enhancement" option. To my ears it makes it incredibly bright and overcompressed. That may work for some genres but for ambient it's laughable how much worse the "enhancement" is

I'm re-reading all of the books by @emilymandel.bsky.social in reverse order. It has been about 3 years since I read all 6. They were very inspirational to my music at the time. It's great to revisit and pick up on things I missed the first time.
