Stamp collecting is a funny game. These Princess Diana stamps from 1997 were in an antique and curiosity store for £1.50. Their face value might be just £1.30, but you would imagine a collector would happily pay a fiver for a mint condition set.
I actually had a pretty easy blood donation today. I've struggled recently.

My wife preached at a local church yesterday. There's a Baptist tradition that if a visiting preacher refuses payment, then they will be offered a small gift instead. Yesterday we were pleased to accept home-grown Logan Berries and a cucumber. I call that winning.
If pride is a sin then I am a sinner. This afternoon I restrung my rotary washing line. It took forever but it worked ok.

It annoyed me that in every episode of Bridgerton the Wisteria was in full bloom.
I love that Radio Caroline decide to play a Kate Bush song, and they choose "The Dreaming". Every other station is doing "Running Up That Hill" or "Army Dreamers"
No-one can flourish in the wrong conditions. I was given an amaryllis bulb for Christmas, but forgot to do anything with it. 12 days ago I found it, growing in the dark in its box. I potted it up, and now look at it! Just needed a little care and attention; sunlight, soil and water.

Last Christmas my son and daughter-in-law bought me a jigsaw puzzle to get me off my phone. Since then I've always had one on the go. Finished a little 500 piece one this evening.
