story with some great sharky action. Great job with the VFX and plenty of jump scares—but none of that would work if we didn’t care about the characters.
Enjoyed Thrash. It’s a good shark movie in a sea of bad shark movies. (And we all know there are so many bad shark movies…) But Thrash knows the secret to a good monster story is making us care about the people—and then putting them in danger. Strong cast and
No spoilers, but commercials made me think Crime 101 was going to be all car actiony. However, it turns out it’s more of a mature crime drama with a few cool action scenes. Strong performances all around. Great example of modern LA noir.
