The Rue Haut Rivage with Tiger tank '105' buried in the Lemaire house. On the right the Degbomont house: the hole caused by a Tiger trying to pass '105' is boarded up but still clearly visible.
Wessel testified after the war that he drove all the way up the Rue Haute Rivage to what he described as a ‘rectangular square’ where his tank got two hits on the bow, urging him to back up the tank causing its driver to crash into the building.
