Meatloaf was in the unaired pilot of The State !? What an amazing tidbit to not know until this evening.

Watched the TV commercial on the blu-ray for The Last Waltz for the first time. they rattle off all the guest musicians names but when they say Eric Clapton they don't even show his face just the close up shot of when his guitar strap falls off. Perfect. Screw that dude 😸
