Officiated my fifth wedding, this time for one of my best friends. It’s the best gig I can think of: central and important and a lot of ways to be creative - and also completely irrelevant. You can’t fail. Just a lot of fun and a great honor.
When I watch White Christmas I always imagine the music as entirely diegetic and everybody despises these obnoxious theater kids flirting at each other in harmony.
Something really perfect and poetic about twitter’s (latest, of course not final) meltdown hitting while I’m on vacation with basically zero cell reception. I’m sure I’ll get more into the swing here when I’m back, but for now, this is more my speed.
