Another Year, another season of Rick and Morty, a guilty pleasure show of mine lol. Season 9 continues the trend that Season 8 started of actually being decent, it honestly might be better than Season 8. No really bad episodes, all very enjoyable
At this point i'm fully committed to watching all the Craig Bond movies, Skyfall is next. This one Feels a little closer to the quality of Casino Royale, but unfortunately doesn't quite live up to it all the way.
Went and saw the latest Christopher Nolan movie, The Odyssey. Smh the actors weren't accurately cast historically accurately as real Ancient Greeks in this fictional legend, terrible movie 😔
Another Bond movie, this time it's the second of the Craig Bond movies, and a direct sequel to Casino Royale. Quantum of Solace Was suprised to find out that this is considered to be one of the worst of the franchise. While it's nowhere near as good as some others, i still really enjoyed it.
COMPLETELY FORGOT To include this one Watched APEX (2026), a netflix original movie, ultimately a very boring and forgettable thriller that doesn't do enough to standout among the many other movies with similar setups.
Finally watched David Lynch's Lost Highway, been wanting to watch this one for a while. A very surreal and confusing dark noir movie that feels very david lynch-esque.
Another Game to add, managed to Beat 007 First Light. This was part of the reason I started watching the bond movies, and yeah this game does capture a similar feel to the modern ones for certain.
Forgot to add this, but Watched Season 1 of the Sopranos. Had the urge to watch another crime drama, and decided to start this. It's not what I was expecting but it's very solid.
Finally managed to watch Obsession, one of the larger horror movies of this year, wanted to see it in cinemas but unfortunately wasn't able to. Deeply upsetting horror movie with a very unlikable protagonist and his unwillingness to face the consequences of his actions.
Another classic i've somehow just never seen. Aliens. Fantastic sequel to the first, goes for a more action horror style but still keeps all the core elements that made the original great and adds so much more to it.
Finally got around to watching Dune: Part Two. Much like the first this is a fantastic sci-fi epic. Still a fairly slow movie, but with all the setup done thanks to the first it can really get into the meat of it here and it's so much better for it.
Not really a game you can beat but i managed to roll credits in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream today so i'm counting it lol. Very silly life sim game, was a big fan of the 3DS version, this game has far more customization options but less to actually do unfortunately.
Deltarune Chapter 5 was yesterday, and it was a real fun one, some great gameplay twists and fun characters, about what you'd expect from a deltarune chapter, but maybe a slight step back from Chapter 3 and 4.
Finished Part 2 of Baki-Dou: Invincible Samurai. Solid second half to the arc, that has some fantastic fights but a kinda anti-climactic final battle.
Another Ben Stiller Comedy, this time it's the movie reboot of Starsky and Hutch. Very much your average ben stiller and owen willson comedy movie, if that's you're kind of movie this will be right up your alley.
Tropic Thunder is an over the top meta edgy satire of hollywood as a whole about a group of exaggerated actors making a war movie, exploring the ideas of questionable casting, executive greed, incompetence and method acting all in a very funny and controversial comedy
Isle of Dogs, is another Wes Anderson stop motion animated movie, about a trash island where the dogs of a Japanese city were banished to due to rapid disease spread amongst them. Follows a young boy attempt to try and find his lost dog on the island.
Keeping the comedy train going, finally watched the first season of the American office. Very short and sweet, solid start to this classic
Watched the second Season of Last One Laughing UkK. Just as fun as the first Somehow an even more stacked lineup compared to the first
Bit different from the usual stuff I add here but finally watched Last One Laughing UK season 1. Great anti comedy show where they get some of the UKs best comedians and try their best to not laugh at each other
This Bond kick I’ve been on has had me interested to check out the other Austin Powers movies. Rewatched the first a few days ago, but didn’t include it, but this was the first time I’ve seen the sequel.
Goldeneye up next, newer film from the 90’s. First with Pearce Brosnan as bond and very enjoyable.
Right into 22 Jump Street. Immediately is a massive step up from the first, really plays more into its meta commentary far more overtly and in a very funny way
21 Jump Street up next. Very dumb buddy cop movie that intentionally messes with the tropes of high school Comedies and buddy cop movies too. Lots of dumb and memorable moments.
Watched another Classic Bond movie. Goldfinger. Less ultra racist (but still has its moments) but still incredibly sexist
Immediately after I decided to watch the Casino Royal 2006 James Bond movie. A very solid action movie, so much happens, it genuinely felt like i watched 3 movies in one.
James Bond is a franchise i've never delved into that deeply, felt like trying to give them a watch since the new Bond game looks awesome. Started with Dr. No, in the nicest way possible, it's extremely of it's time and not in a good way lol.
Dorohedoro finally got a season 2 after a very long gap from the first. It's just as weird, funny and violent as the first, with some major shakeups to the series midway through.
Something a lil unorthodox now, finally beat all 5 main endings for the FNAF Fangame, Five nights at Frickbears 3. A very silly and goofy take on fnaf, However with a deceptive amount of content and story. Genuinely one of the best takes on this style of gameplay.
Been quite excited for this one, Backrooms is out and it's very very good. Not the most scary, but really plays into the creepy vibes and atmosphere of the original concept very well, and expands on it in it's own unique way that really adds to the eerie factor.
