It's been a long time coming, and I finally had the incredible honor of meeting both Karen Patterson and Dr. Robert Cochrane in person. These are two remarkable individuals whom I have admired for years. #WPC2026 #Parkinsons
We are not only fighting to raise awareness for Parkinson's disease—it seems we are also fighting social media just to be heard. Today, once again, I received a notice claiming that a show focused entirely on Parkinson's disease awareness, violated community guidelines.
Some people inspire you from afar, and then there are those who completely change your perspective when you finally meet them in person. I've admired Janet Shipton and shared the mission of Parkinson's advocacy with her for many years, but finally meeting her face-to-face was truly life-changing.

I was an athlete my entire life. I always believed that if I trained hard, stayed disciplined, and took care of my body, I’d keep getting stronger with age. Then something changed after 42.
2024….. The National Plan to End PD is now law but today the work begins! Reach out to your legislators and ensure they now implement the Bill effectively and efficiently! We still have work to do until there is a PD cure! Sharon’s son, George
