I was looking at articles about the amazing Kelsey Pfendler who rowed from California to Hawaii faster than anyone else, and this one rather jumped out. This is in Good Morning America, part of ABC.
My favourite whisky name is still this kosher whisky. And yes, "kosher whisky" is a thing apparently, though there's a lot of paperwork involved. So if you're going to do it, give it a proper dad-joke name.
This is one of my favourite racing pictures because you can see both our eyes, and tell that we're each looking intently at the other chap's front wheel (I'm the one in the white car).
It's based on a book, and a life, by a a guy called... Adam Kay. He did appear in the series by the way - he played a cyclist that called the character Adam Kay a dozy twat.
You didn't mention my favourite coloured bird - the Gouldian Finch, aka the printer CMYK test bird.
Was looking for some gruesome statistics and Wikipedia served me this fantastic graph. Fuck you, Russian losers, all the advantages of crippling alcoholism, despotic insanity, and a fucking war, and you can't even keep up. USA! USA! USA!
Holy shit my thing actually works! Didn't even need much tweaking. This is a traditional mesh (very simple one right now - a 2x2 quad), skinned with the usual 4-weighted-bones, but it has "thickness", and has a heightfield embedded in it that the pixel shader traces through.
