A good morning. For as long as he keeps coming to the UK, I’ll keep going to see him. #BobDylan
Crossing the finish line of the 44 mile Classic Quarter earlier today with my son - a special way to round off an amazing day! Ignore the blue sky… the conditions this morning were probably the worst I’ve ever raced in! Brutal.
Picked this stunning girl up from the RSPCA yesterday. She’s a lovely new addition to the family!
The Falmouth Worm Charming Championships this weekend. A truly bonkers event. Surprisingly good as a spectator sport though!
Heading home tomorrow after the best weekend at World Pilot Gig Championships 2026 on the Scillies. We were DQ’d in the Vets, but came 52/132 in the Open. So proud of my crew. We got better with each race and gave absolutely everything we had. Winning our Saturday evening race was a real highlight.
@lakesstiles.bsky.social is still very active thankfully! And I was pleased to hear this morning that the Sennen kiosk is going to be repaired.
Of all my modest running achievements, becoming the ‘legend of dog shit alley’ surely ranks high above them all.
This blew my mind today. Reefs built by honeycomb worms. Zoom in and you can see every grain of sand placed with precision. Just incredible. #Cornwall
West Penwith coastal hike, day 2. St Just - St Ives. My favourite stretch of coast. Nice not to be running it for a change! But still hard work. The pasty and coffee in St Ives was monumental!
Day 1 of my West Penwith coastal hike. Nearly 25 miles today… Penzance to St Just. Truly stunning day out on the coast path!
Cold. But it’s never tough getting out of bed on a morning like this. #Cornwall #gigrowing
