And look at the proliferation of flock cameras in Michigan, watching your every trip to buy a gun or cannibis or booze, or pick up your kids from school or get a haircut. Ref: deflock.org Police state anyone? #FuckFlock #FuckPalantir
They could have just put a Grindr flag at half staff, as is tradition for "southern gentlemen."
I do this with basically every Humble Bundle. Does this negatively impact you? I assume the "Macmillan Publishers" give you your cut...
I got home and took out Riley to play in the grass and roll around all day. #JustBeagleThings
I don't remember what I ordered, but the fact that they light something on fire (the glowie burning steel wool[?]) to serve it to you immediately makes it twice as delicious.
Here's what mine looks like -- it hosts on an rpi and handles proxying and encrypting the traffic for 5 services. You can see the first section and its replicated below for separate servers/ports.
Have you tried filthy olives -- the ones stuffed with tiny pickles? It's kinda like a tiny burrito of briney goodness.
My puppy turned 1 and gets a silly hat! Beagles do not like hats -- but they do like pup cakes. #JustBeagleThings
Both my beagle puppy and I are thrilled. She too loves curling up with a good book. Congrats!
First class upgrade on my return flight from Jacksonville. Had a wonderful time leading a client's workshop. Both are definitely a welcome perk. 🙂
I don't normally eat like this, but I gotta say, when in Canada, get the damn poutine. The burger also has breaded, fried jalapenos. The flavor is so good, and it really showcases the Canadian beef. The place is Burgers Priest in London, ON. Great workers, great service, too.
Last minute booking to Jacksonville. Exit row plus no middle passenger isn't bad. At least I'm not squished into a middle seat in the back.
Staying in Montreal, had a few drinks at GaZette Bistro and Bar in my hotel. Not the best view, but it is a Westin, so it is good rest.
I ran into this one and I think more bathrooms need stuff like it in it in general...
So Denver is pretty nice. Was at the Convention Center for a talk to a nice sized crowd, and got to get out for some good food at La Loma and checking out a cool clock tower from my hotel.
@levarburton.bsky.social Happy Birthday! Thanks for bringing so much joy into the world!
Age verification? This was my first personal computer. When I was 5 or 6, I sat down with a magazine (which they published code in) and keyed in a snakes game. I also played Hunt the Wumpus and Tunnels of Doom and stored data on cassette tapes.
