Finally sitting down to more properely listen to Madonna's new album (got it a few weeks ago). Confessions on a Dancefloor is (was?) my fav Madonna album by far, and it's so cool to have her visit this musical style again. I think I might even like this more than it's previous! 💃🏼💿

Loving the resurgence (niche, but still!) of physical media. This autumn I started reconstructing my CD collection, got a CD-player and I absolutely love it. Just listened to this incredible album just now. Without touching a computer or phone.

More recent, but this made me think about Logiske Metoder (”Logical Methods”) by my late math and logic proffessor Roger Antonsen (he designed and illustrated the cover and the book himself in addition to y’know… writing it). He made me appreciate the beauty and fun(!) of math in way I hadn’t!

Just finished playing Limbo again. What an gorgeous game (with interesting puzzles). It’s quite grusome a lot of the time (not to mention creepy, parts of the game are directly inspired by the director’s arachnophobia). Still, not a proper horror title (those are too much for me).

Lately I’ve been playing Cocoon, and it’s such a beautiful game (and for the most part) relaxing puzzle game. It’s by the lead game designer on Limbo and Inside and I recognise some of the puzzle design, but the aesthetic is more of wonder and less of noir industrial decay. Highly recommended! 🎮

I grew up on these streets

It may look slightly silly, but an iPad Mini with a small external keyboard and mouse works surprisingly well as a more capable iPad setup. It’s made writing (including stuff like email) far more enjoyable when on the go.
