I like to create reluctantly cheerful characters and put them in weird comics ✏️ artist, illustrator, life drawing obsessive, and comic maker. All hand made in Sydney, Australia.
One of my little mushroom characters lying on a bed of lemon thyme. It's a cardboard cutout of a sharpie and copic marker illustration.
I haven’t done an acrylic painting in so long I can’t even remember the last time. I’m making a comic about a time traveling puppet and this is the monster the puppet is based on.
All the cardboard cutout illustrations I made for Game of Shrooms 2026. I switched it up this year and added some alcohol marker and pencil for a bit of shading.
They call me Mr Produce. The big beef steak tomatoes have a watermelon-esque flavour
I almost forgot how fun it is turn your weird little characters into stickers. These are plucked straight from my comic illustrations.
I made a comic about a ghost trying to start a massage parlour 👻 It's a little bit long to fit the whole thing in a bluesky post 👉 touchingdoodles.com/ghost-masseur/
A horrifying burger monster ? Yes please! Reply with any weird burger art you’ve made ! (Cardboard, permanent marker and Copic marker for some extra shadows )
The incredible lengths I go to to play music from my phone through my 22 year old car speakers. Out of frame is the additional headphone jack to usb-c dongle.
I had to ink 14 comic panels in 2 days while jet lagged to make it in time for a group show. Coloured inks are so fun.
Oh you thought you were just having a beer at the pub? You didn’t even notice you were being hunted the whole time 😈 (sketched)
It’s really fun getting to draw the same model multiple times over a few years “oh what, I am improving after all?”
First wasabi leaf harvest. Just a touch of burn. It’s liking winter but I’m not confident it’ll survive a Sydney summer
A recent fav from a very fun and sort of silly life drawing session 👕
