I built some notable pieces of web 1.0, including some services/sites that you probably used if you're old enough. Now I'm getting very grumpy about what our creation has become.
Sometimes it's the AI mistakes that are the most fun. This is not what I was looking for, but dammit, I'm going to find a way to use it.
It's been a few months since I asked an AI to draw a cartoon of a cat farting in an elevator. It is getting somewhat better at this particular task:
Current status includes an homage to Anchor Steam, an IPA created by Iron Maiden, and whatever the insane clownfish posse is. Perhaps there are underwater magnets?
This is what the DC 4th of July celebrations used to look like, before Reagan banned rock acts in the 80s, the Park Service started banning alcohol in the 90s and the security idiots implemented checkpoints post-2001. I was somewhere in this crowd, and I still remember the Katrina and the Waves set.
This looks Italian; like that hand in motion started out under her chin. The sentiment is clearly the same, and that's most of what matters anyway.
And then there are the maltitol sweetened, zero-sugar gummy bears, mainstay of pranksters, destroyers of latrines.
Had to dig pretty deep into my personal archive (aka old junk drawer) to find a Bianca sticker for my new laptop, but at least I still had some.
I'm not so confident in the rest of tonight's picks, so I'm going to post this now... ESPN says there are 538,436 others like it, and more than 26,000,000 that have missed at least one game so far.
This particular piece of AI art was not at all what I was going for, but it also seemed worth sharing.
I do not limit myself to flour when visiting the restaurant wholesale store. This remains a highly popular ingredient, that's still not (officially) sold at retail?
Hold on. I've now been told that in a 15-1 game, it's appropriate to go to the 10th inning? That seems about as useful as tits on a bull.
