Disagree. I would have loved The Hunt for Ben Solo because I get its purpose. Multiple people also said it was a really fucking cool script, not just Driver. But Disney only listens to its incel haters or people who still want the EU to magically appear.
Favorite ending: Rational/Logical hero waits 10 years for her with only his hope, despite everyone telling him she is dead & gone. And then, one day, she finally returns home to him. 🙂

Reylos are largely female Star Wars fans. We were subjected to constant harassment for supporting the ST & its new characters. Even today we get tweets like this one, wanting women out of the SW fandom. But somehow we are the problem because we want a HOPEFUL ending for our favorite characters.
Happy Mother's Day to Leia, who gave up being a Jedi to save her son's life, only for her son to apparently drop dead so she can become a Ghost Jedi with his death & get a better replacement heir w/ her brother in Rey. 🙃 Disney deciding this was *somehow* a hopeful ending for a mother is baffling.

The Rise of Skywalker, ie the one that exterminated the last Skywalker/Solo descendant in such a way that apparently I can't even get a Soderbergh/Driver Star Wars movie now that would actually HEAL me. THFBS is the ONLY Star Wars movie I actually NEED after IX left me depressed, angry, & hopeless.
The Hunt for Ben Solo was the ONLY Star Wars movie that would have gotten me to watch & invest in Star Wars again after IX's depressing ending. As a former "super fan," I won't be watching Mando, nor Starfighter. Star Wars is dead to me without Ben Solo. I won't even spend thousands on Disney trips.
Never has an ending affected me so negatively-to the point of legit depression for years- as that of The Rise of Skywalker. Beauty & the Beast was my favorite childhood Disney movie, but even it is hard to watch now because its ending reminds me of how IX erased "the prince" in its parallel scene. 🙃
I am counting this as the sort-of mini-epilogue that I always wanted for The Jasad Crown, lol. 🥰
The way Star Wars decided Rey - a character waiting years for a family to "come back" - should end up with just dead people instead of a living Dyad soulmate because all that mattered was a surname transfer....will forever infuriate me. 🤨 Anyway, #ReunitetheDyad, Disney, if you ever want my money.

There's 100k likes on twitter in agreement with this comment, which is EXACTLY why the Duffer Brothers shouldn't have made Eleven's fate "ambiguous". Also why a suicidal death sacrifice from a young person shouldn't have been an option in the first place.
The narrative told them that even if you come back after fucking up, the only option is basically death because somebody better can basically replace you. Or in Eleven's case, only Mike will grieve you, but you are a preventing everybody else from a happy ending & need to go be alone.

This is probably super out-of-focus Rey on the left. There is a slight chance the red thing is Kylo's lightsaber but I don't think it is, as the character itself does not match when you look at other shots.
We went to the St. Louis Zoo to Hunt for Ben Solo. We asked a variety of animals if they had seen a tall man w/ a shredded 8-pack & great hair, but it was a negative. Rey's Dyad remains to be seen. #thehuntforbensolo Maybe @lucasfilm.bsky.social knows where Ben is because he's WANTED & MISSING.
#thehuntforbensolo I was looking through really old screenshots on my phone & found some of the comments written to Adam Driver from "The Rise of Ben Solo" AITAF campaign. Thought I'd share given recent events:
Ben Solo never would've left Rey alone because in TLJ these 2 characters bond over feeling ALONE. IX's ending is HOPELESS. IX gave Rey a dead family's surname & used her to replace Ben as a sole heir. Now DISNEY thinks you can't resurrect Ben in a fantasy fairytale ffs. #thehuntforbensolo is needed.
There's nothing more ironic (and frustrating as a Star Wars fan) than Bob Iger not greenlighting The Hunt for Ben Solo because the heads of Disney do not actually believe in fairytale magic, love, living redemption, resurrection, & happy ever after for Star Wars. 🤨 #thehuntforbensolo
But Disney's Iger & Bergman apparently do not want our money. And it is A LOT of $ they are losing by not bringing back Ben. Anyway said money is now being spent on billboards, plane banners, the PCRF fundraiser, The Love Hypothesis, The Hurricane Wars, etc. when it could've gone to Disney directly.
