We had a fantastic meeting last night! TC Board Member Gillian and Michael from United Way of Central Ohio discussed accelerating the Bike Plus plan in Columbus. Folks also voted on parklet designs for Park(ing) Day with the Knowlton Society!

But the work isn’t finished. The Transportation & Pedestrian Commission still has not been reactivated, and public accountability must remain part of this work. That being said, today is still a MAJOR win and proof that advocacy works. 💪

This is a commitment to safer streets for everyone: pedestrians, bicyclists, transit riders, motorists, and people of all ages and abilities. 🚴🚶🚗 This policy became significantly stronger because residents spoke up and demanded accountability and transparency.
