Yet another bot account meant to spread disinfo about those who expose its scams. Please read this thread ☝️ in its entirety to get the full story of a years long scam started on IG and found its way onto Bsky.

They provided a link to their other bot accounts posing as Queer groups all over the country using AI generated art. This is consistant with "Black Trans Texas Conntection" use of AI generated artwork and sharing their fundraising links.

This bot account's first block was to block the real Stop Cop City account.

According to them and GuideStar, THC operates in Atlanta, GA. THC's donation platforms are GoFundMe and their website. Whereas, according to a fictitious article front Out Front Magazine, "HBTWF" claims to operate in Miami. "HBTWF" uses other platforms like DonorBox, CashApp, Fundrazr, PayPal 🧵

We found the official GoFundMe, and then their website transhousingcoalition.org and found them on GuideStar with an EIN and an address. We reached out to verify with them the account in question. They stated that the account is a fraud, and they've been trying to get it taken down for years. 🧵

We first noticed this fake account when it blocked us several days ago just after another fake account on this thread blocked us. After some investigating, we found the real org that started HBTWF back in 2019 which transitioned into Trans Housing Coalition leaving behind its former title. 🧵
