I didn't feel like opening another block of tofu so it's just the marinated, roasted shards I made yesterday. It's pretty damn tasty!
I really need to work on my pulling technique but other than that, this was very delicious AND vegan. Next time I won't marinate the tofu before roasting it since it's TOO flavorful.
Tweaked my back, managed to make it to Fairway for vegan organic stuff to make the rest of the focaccia pizza for dad. He was so happy! You know what? I am too. There's so much love in my heart right now.
My heart is full of gratitude & love. Today could not have been more perfect: a breezy, sunny, temperate day spent visiting our mother, making pizza dough, seeing Dad, having a joyous & delicious dinner with our extended family. I realize this is what matters now.

Most people throw away salmon skin after roasting a filet but may I suggest you do this instead for the ultimate cook's treat? It's crispy as fuck, nutritious & delicious.

I didn't have the patience to roll & cut these so ugly hand torn noodles it is. Thick & chewy? Can't go wrong. I don't have cilantro. I forgot to add black vinegar but the tomatoes were plenty acidic & balanced by the ketchup & Shaoxing wine. For a first attempt at these noodles, not bad at all.
This is really fucking spicy which is great. My sinuses are so clear.
Now I have to wait for this to cool before I can slice into it.

Lunch today was the remainder of a half block of tofu doddering in the fridge like Grampa Simpson, broccoli, straw mushrooms, yellow bell pepper and sanuki udon (not pictured). It tastes like healthy takeout which i consider a victory.
