Funniest damn thing I’ve seen outside of the original trilogy. This is full of dark, twisted humor and it’s great!
Faces of Death (2026) was actually a decent slasher, and also a satire that comments on the hypocrisy of social media censorship and the harsh reality that most viewers wouldn’t care if it was real, as long as it’s entertaining. Some really dumb moments bring it down but not awful. #movies
Backrooms (2026) has a really neat concept and I loved the exploration scenes and the creepy creations lurking around corners but ultimately the movie left me feeling a bit flat by the end. It needed something else I can’t put my finger on. Didn’t hate it. Didn’t love it. It exists and that’s fine.

EXIT 8 (2025), based on a video game in the vein of Silent Hill P.T. utilizing the liminal spaces motif, ala Backrooms, was a lot of fun. Highly recommend, though it might raise your anxiety levels. #filmsky #horrorsky #moviesky #liminalspaces

HOKUM (2026) Decent flick. Unsettling and creepy at times but plot is a bit scatterbrained—witches, ghosts, goats and infidelity, oh my! Rein it in. Liked the catharsis and how it was depicted in the film’s final moments but still found the movie to be only slightly better than average. #movies
Consumed (2024) is a decent Wendigo-themed survival horror movie. The story is a bit paltry but the performances are good and there are some effective creepy scenes, though things grind to a halt in the middle. Overall, one of the better Wendigo movies. #HorrorSky #Movies #films
Daughter and I just finished playing Until Dawn for the first time and we loved it! So thought we’d check out the movie from last year and… wow, talk about a case of make something that has hardly anything to do with what it is based on. Really bad adaptation and disjointed storytelling. Terrible.

Held off watching BLACK PHONE 2 because I didn’t like the first one much but the sequel was definitely more enjoyable. They swung for the fences and it mostly worked. Could be an interesting start to an ongoing franchise but I’d be surprised if they keep going . #HorrorSky #movies #filmsky
