It was a long night.

One month milestone! Lil guy's even got a decent bit of hair on his head now!

Proud of how our changing station has progressed. If I can offer one bit of advice, invest in disposable pee pads. Saves on a lot of cleaning in the case of spontaneous leaks. We also keep them under the bassinet/crib sheet to protect the mattresses. Worthwhile investment!

I'm a manicurist now.

First change after I've taken over the night shift, and this goober son of mine poops himself right as I'm done cleaning and creaming him not once, but twice. Bro really made me go through the whole process two times then hit me with

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there. I'm honoured to finally count myself among you this time around. My dad passed away before we got to know each other, so experiencing fatherhood like this really means more than I can put into words.

I'm glad my mom knows and uses Sam's name now. Prior to the birth she just called him "Foxy Baby" (because of my wife's last name). Just... No. Though it makes me think that I should get my father in law this hat.
