Trident the Bear's pick of transport-related news, views and photos
We have spoken to Trident and told him to get back to the office. He said he was at the airfield about to get on his plane. From the photo he sent us we don't think he will be flying Economy and wonder if he has bought the plane....
No request for Leave, but Trident has been missing from the office for the last week without permission and we have just found this image online of him on a Super Yatch with his friends. Should we put him on a final warning when he decides to come into the office next?

During his Lakes visit last week Trident thought this was a brilliant little bus and he now says he would like one of his own. We did tell him that Stagecoach Cumbria & Lancashire would not be happy that he decided to sit on it though and that he should head off an get on a proper open top bus!
Trident says he really likes the Lake District as he can park his car at the B&B and can still do all his favourite things by using the excellent bus services from Stagecoach's Cumbria & Lancashire business to get around and he really likes to waves at the friendly bus drivers.
Trident has been away in the Lake District and really enjoyed posing with his latest car which he says was a great way to get to the area.
Trident is finding the heat this week quite un-bear-able and hopes that this photo from his holiday earlier this year helps to make you feel cool. He has tried getting into the fridge to keep cool but doesn't fit, and wonders how his friend @hunsletthebear.bsky.social keeps cool
Trident really enjoyed his visit to Skegness last week and was excited to see Stagecoach East Midlands Skegness Seasider bus 'Teddy the Seasider' and even gave its driver a wave
Within Stagecoach's mainland regional (not London or Guernsey) operating companies only one (Stagecoach East) has no vehicles still painted in the Rolling Ball livery and all of its 'Steel Blue' repaints - except E400MMC 11723 at Cambridge with Pride branding - are at Bedford

It was 50 years ago that I first 'borrowed' a bus to go to a rally, which kick-started my long-standing bus photoshoots. I did another one last week! In 1976 (June 6) it was WMPTE (ex Coventry) Daimler CVG 239Y taken on the Rykneld Run (Burton on Trent-Derby).
