I am in northwestern PA. That's not cloud cover. That's smoke from the Ontario/MN fires. The sunbeam the cat lays in isn't even the right color.

Smoky haze over the sun. Pecan tree to the right of frame.

Split level stairwell. The six squares of sunbeam should be golden yellow, not hazy orange.

A still from Drake & Josh go to Hollywood. I think, I only saw it once. They put Megan (young Miranda Cosgrove, pictured) on the wrong plane somehow, and she's shaking her head, saying, "Those dumb boobs," in the tone of an aggrieved younger sister. A flight attendant pushes a cart down the aisle.

Book one covers July '24 to December 2025. Book two here starts in December of '25 and has about 40 empty pages left. They are 240 page notebooks. Log 1: 17 months Log 2: 7 months so far I already bought the third one. Tryna keep em together so future historians don't have to run all over the map.

Ever played a video game where bits of journals or audio logs (i.e: Borderlands) need to be found all over the damn map, in random order? Annoying.
This is a chronological IRL version of how we got where the fuck we are.

My first ever quartz point came to me from a grade school "gem dig" and i can remember the lady who was leading it saying, "did everyone get a good sized chunk of something," as she passed me. I hadn't, so she popped this in my panning tray. I've had it since 1994 - oldest piece I have.

A small quartz crystal ive had for over 30 years.

She had a Miraculous Medal, I have an apothecary cabinet. She had eye drops, I have a bowl.

A repurposed, windowed medicine cabinet turned apothecary. There's a vase of incense and a burner in front of it. Underneath is the lace doily that's probably older than me (40s).

My kid made an emotional support plant. The story behind George is part Bugs Bunny, part I had a minivan named George that i had to put a black fascia casing on after a collision with an ice mound. Hence, mustache.

A purple leaved succulent in a terra cotta pot. It has a black mustache painted on it, and it says George. In green letters up on the rim, it says emotional support plant.

My mother is festive. The shelf over the sink changes seasonally. We get Americana crap from May thru September. Every year for the last 5 years. A couple days ago, the country fell. Clattered to the floor, hit some dishes. We were telling 14 about it otw home today and when we got home, guess what?
