Onions looking good this year. Peas have gone crazy and are just getting ready to pick. Growing sunflowers for the first time. The saskatoons apparently loved all the June rain - bumper crop so far. Loving our little urban farm. 👨‍🌾 #TrueOakGarden

Conservatives can get over themselves. If they really want to see something truly disgusting, hang out at the edge of the oil sand tailings ponds in NE Alberta. It’s atrocious that they have been in existence for decades and still no plan on how to deal with them. Yes let’s make more toxic effluent!

Got through most of the AB energy rebate form then keep getting stuck at the bank verification stage. Why are neither ATB or Servus listed as options but includes Envision Financial, Island Savings, Prospera & Valley First all in BC & Libro Credit Union in ON. A lot to get $100 to donate to NDP.

Meanwhile in UCP Alberta instead of using a thoughtful informed approach, an ideological chaotic FAFO approach has been implemented for healthcare (& everything else). It’s not helping improve healthcare. I wonder why? Is Nova Scotia on to something?

"In 2022, Nova Scotia Health began a multi-year plan to improve access to surgeries, along with endoscopy procedures and diagnostic imaging," Howley said.
"This type of improvement takes time and I think we're now starting to see the results and trends, which are encouraging. For the last four years we've really focused on a number of things for all surgeries, including better utilization of our resources, our electronic referral system had been launched, scheduling with centralized booking, attracting and recruiting and retaining the skilled staff required to do these surgeries, as well as increasing capacity. It's really been a multi-pronged, multi-year approach that has led to these sustained improvements.

Will Smith & her kind ever understand that a treaty is between nations & not about some group created by the federal govt as she’s implying? The Federal & Provincial govts have responsibilities under the treaties, as do the First Nations that signed the treaties, regarding our shared land.

"It's an interesting idea... I hadn't considered that that would be our only lever, is to say we'll only do business with those nations that are able to account for the dollars that we send to them," she said.
Other provincial beneficiaries - non-profits, municipalities, health agencies and school boards - all have to tell the province how they spend provincial money to be accountable for taxpayer dollars, Smith said.
