that's not the snw versions of the important couple from amok time. this is the snw versions of the important couple from amok time.
now *here's* a saga going straight into my garnet deck. lifegain, recursion, and a chapter 1 that lets a buffed garnet murder something every turn. as far as the saga goes as a translation of the episode, it seems mid. the plot has two people on the same side fighting. and chapter 2 is "huh?"
here's another star trek card i instantly love. the kill mode only works in self-defense, which is very much the federation ethos. and the stun mode is... well, the word "stun" is a cognate between its use in trek and in magic. plus i like andorians.
now *this* is a slam dunk. sagas are so good at telling stories. you have more than one "frame of animation". a single card saying "this happened, then that, then that" is a powerful way to express flavor with mechanics. the bar here is high but imo this one *still* stands out as a solid a.
is this supposed to be from clues, when deanna was taken over by the paxans? i'm trying to recall when troi ever threw out lightning.
i didn't know this is why i was on threads, but unconsciously setting myself up to witness this is the only possible explanation.
cast yourself as a villain the woman gifted with godhood, dedicated her life to being a benevolent deity, had her home and mind manipulated until her morality was so twisted that even her consistently good intentions led her to commit atrocities. that's the villain i'd be.
bambamramfan.github.io/ai-compass/ this seems accurate. people always matter more than machines.
what the fuck? "on a murderous quest for revenge"? spoilers here but that is not true. there is a character looking for revenge but it's not kara. kara's primary motivation for the entire adventure is to save her dog. (and spoilers again: she saves the dog. the dog lives and is fine.)
expedition thoughts: i have reached the "cute people" area of the game. i rarely like "cute people" areas in games, but okay, i have to give it to them here for this. this is very funny.
this boss looks like something from arrival. just so big, and with a cloud between me and it. and god help me i might be starting to get not-awful at the timing. maybe the problem last time was the steam deck controls, not just my rhythmlessness?
without downloading new pics what's it like dating you?
my final grade is a b. low for mass effect, but decent overall. and now i'm on to another game from years ago that i played a little and bounced off.
oh okay. buying a steam machine would basically mean that i don't buy any other gaming hardware for a couple years. i mean there's still a good chance i'll get it—my steam deck is my favorite gaming machine of all time, even beating my snes or ps2—but damn that's a lot for a fancy console.
myntasha finding her own protection is a chef kiss
midnight silvermoon at midnight really is pretty. brought to you by inky black potion.
a friend just pointed out that kamala khan does big hands, so she says you have no max hand size. big. hands. embiggen. i don't know who exactly did that but i have my suspicions.
"god, what fucking petty losers they all are." chapter who-even-knows-anymore facebook had pride rainbow reactions for a little while. they don't even exist as historical artifacts on the site. it's just a grey circle now.
when your kids maybe get along again after weeks of bickering. emery's tail is twitching even though she's the one who got on top of evan. i really hope this detente lasts.
hey @steelcitysteph.bsky.social i am using my packs as game pieces. even if nobody else is going to draft i'm going to myntasha them.
this is facile (give the dyke the rainbow mana production ability) and i give absolutely no fucks, as i too am a dyke who wants a rainbow mana production ability. and she's uncommon, too. i love karolina and will definitely be figuring out something to do with her card. happy pride to me at least.
another in the "evan explores the garage" series. this one is titled "as i stand atop toilet paper i gaze upon life itself and mourn that i am but a house panther and not a mighty jungle panther"
"mom, this looks like the monster that carried us across the country for a week and a half earlier this year. hold me back."
actually quoting the impetus for today's #scryfallshivam here because they go into the same deck. the gempalms were a weird cycle for me to see at first. "so i'm basically casting this as an uncounterable cantrip to get this totally different effect?" i had been watching magic evolve since...
the world needs more pictures of my evan so here he is under a blanket. he's still there. he'll cry if I try to extricate him, too.
well i may need to replace every ephemerate i play in every deck. this is gorgeous.
i always love cards that give me a free (well, prepaid) creature every turn, especially when it can attack as well. and we've come a long way since goblin assault, baby.
well it looks like facebook dating has some shenanigans going on, if it told me this lady hit like on me without even being into women. what the actual fuck. at best, this is poorly developed. at worst, it's malicious and arbitrarily sending fake likes to seed useless activity. like this.
for today's #scryfallshivam there's this gem of a card that i've literally never seen before. fun! at six mana this was clearly not intended to see play outside mid-bracket commander, which seems fine. slightly asymmetric board wipe doesn't seem like an effect you want folks to have easy access to.
