We are having a record low-tide today, so I got up early and went to the beach. Gently poked a crab with a stick, sniffed some seaweed, found a good shell and pretty rock.

A large kelp leaf lied across a pile of other seaweed this is a photo that should smell like the beach at low tide.

My favorite coffee mug broke, and when I tried to replace it I found it is no longer being made. It is the Rogue+Wolf Ouija cup in the 20 oz size and I have checked Ebay, the Rogue+Wolf website, Etsy and Amazon. Help?

20 Oz black tea /soup mug. The inside rim has the alphabette at the top, and the inside is decorated with a band of clouds and stars. Below that band the cup says Yes. No. Maybe. and the bottom has a moon/sun design.

New squirrel just dropped. 2 inches long - only eats lichen - lives somewhere far away. Look at this cutie!

This outfit is giving "Young exorcist won the spelling bee and got a fancy medal" and I love it.

Wang Yibo at Weibo night 2025. He is wearing a black suit with a mandarin collard vest, a white shirt and a diamond brooch that looks like an old fashioned military medal. The whole look is giving off a vibe that says Catholic priest just out of seminary - his left hand is raised as though bestowing a blessing. It makes me want to do some sinning just so I can be in a confessional with him.

I bought this art print from dappermouth.storenvy.com because I love goats. Now my bedroom looks like a Satanic lair and I don't have the energy to live deliciously.

My Trackball fell out and was lost on my way to work. I tried to improvise.

Bianca the dog went to the vet this morning, she has some kind of intestinal issue but they think it will clear up with pumpkin and probiotics.

I am really excited that this dress is coming together. I am going to add laces to the back, hem it, and add trim. Then make a robe to wear over it. Perfect for Halloween and the HP Lovecraft film festival next year.

I went for a walk through the West Seattle Edible Park today, and picked a lovely fall bouquet. I think it looks nice in Mom's pitcher.

I remember when they were putting extra shoulder padding in his costumes during the Untamed - all of that rock climbing he has been doing really shows.

I took this photo while I was on my lunch break today - living in Seattle can be pretty great sometimes.

A sailboat - possibly a schooner - passes by the marina at Golden Gardens park in Seattle on a sunny day. There are a few small whitecaps and the sky is a bit hazy. The sail boat is white, slender and ridiculously photogenic. It is the Taylor Swift of marine watercraft.

I think I met a cast member from The Untamed at Home Depot today!

Incredibly fake looking black dog that I saw at Home Depot, yet somehow it is still more realistic than the one that Wei Wuxian had to share a jail cell with in The Untamed.

I ordered this sewing machine today - I fell in love with the color. My old machine doesn't make even stitches any more and getting it fixed is more expensive (and less fun) than just replacing it.

Janome sewing machine - basic, beginner model as recommended by my sewing mentor. The machine is a beautiful lavender color.

I wanted to try and find a way to create an inexpensive DIY costume version of a bracelet I saw in an Alexander McQueen exhibit. When I googled "thorn bracelet" I found a photo of one which was labelled as "pearls before swine core". That isn't an aesthetic and I am so tired of "core".

Disney store Maleficent dress. Bodice is a medium purple color, hem of skirt up to mid thigh has yellow and neon green flames and a figure of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty is casting a spell, thorny black vines are starting to rise from the flames. The styling is of a cute 1950's or party dress.

I attended a fun drag show last night. It was sci-fi themed, and between the many jokes about Uranus, a beautiful Hispanic performer dressed in handcuffs and a tattered American flag, reminded us no human is illegal. I am not naming her b/c I don't want any hate to come her way.
