done after about 150 hrs. That sucked. Re2r especially sucks because all your Map data is visible at the end of the game. Claire b run killed me partly because I went too fast on the Leon b run. You can see the evidence of my frustration. My dog started howling in the other room
Canceling a post and blue sky asks it I want to save it as a draft. Had no idea blue sky started supporting drafts. Look in my drafts folder expecting it to be blank
whenever i think i understand the depths of Ody's psychosis, the last elixir postmortems reveal it to be much deeper
Chadley is a litmus test for if you like ffvii remake on its own terms or if you just like retracing the one groove in your smooth brain
scratched my head at this for like 5 hours before I realized it's using that stupid masu box symbol
i have to do these tricky overlap shops for a video i'm making so that you can pan around the whole map, but it makes me wish I could play ffvii with full sized maps. I know every screen would have a different amount of black border but still it'd be cool
sometimes i go back and look at the stupidly detailed resources ody makes for the videos that only get shown upside down/half obscured for like 1.5 seconds
aside from this one hiccup, Capcom is the king of preserving access to pre-order bonuses and DLC content. you can min/max every single-player Resident Evil game to this day, even the PS3 and 3DS ones. they're the polar opposite of Square Enix, who continue to pull exclusive DLC bullshit to this day
okay here's something cool. the Japanese pre-order bonus codes for Resident Evil 7 still work 9 years later despite "expiring" in 2018. problem is there was another preorder DLC that was digital-only and can't be redeemed by code. who can I curry favor with to get Capcom/Sony to add it to my account
It's now been over a month since FFVII's 2026 Steam rerelease. The new listing has a 57 rating, while the previous one had a 93. It still suffers from audio bugs, FMV stuttering, and bad bilinear filtering. You have to wonder if the move was financially and reputationally worth it for SE.
