NGL, I spoil my resident wallabies. I just bought a dozen bunya nuts for them, because I read they like them. For those who don't know what a bunya nut is, it's a Jurassic-looking cone from an Australian pine. They weigh up to 10kg each. People have literally died from having one fall on their head.

Tickets were $5.20, and I've still got the stub.

Beautiful day for some burning off. That's been going for six hours. It won't get any more wood on it, but it'll smoulder down to coals overnight, and probably still have signs of life for three or four days.

I've just bought 4 baby Argentine Ombu trees, because I bloody could, because they grow fast and look awesome, and because I have room for them. I can't quite get used to this whole 'room for things' thing. And I still desperately miss living in inner Sydney, but hey, cool trees.
