A wild raccoon appears! Formerly a deer mouse. Seattle area forest dweller. Therian. Mushroom whisperer.
One reason I don’t have a garden is because I have SO MANY slugs. And they’re huge. I probably have one slug per square yard across my property. Certain times of day at certain times of year you have to watch every step you take to avoid them. It’s crazy.

Heard this fawn clacking around on my deck trying to figure out how to get to its mom. Poor thing took the most difficult path! At least it had a happy ending. Silly creatures. Love how the mom was like *nose touch* “poor baby! You really scared yourself didn’t you?”
Mustelids eh? I have a ferret I made in like 2005. Haven’t worn him in years. Not particularly “vintage toony” though. He still looks more or less like this. I’m 6’3” or so and was probably 180lbs at the time. (Still fits me at 210lbs). Also, ancient photo with @northpaux.bsky.social!

Got to ride the monorail yesterday after Pride with @coachbigdog.bsky.social I also picked up an Orca card so now I car try out the new “2” train on a weekend or something one of these days. Been in the Seattle area 7 years this month and only just now using transit for the first time.
Got up early and spent like an hour and a half sprawled naked on my back on my deck before the sun came up over the trees. Just staring at the sky and watching the clouds and birds drift by. It was perfect.
My raccoon restraint system arrived and has been set up. Now I just need someone to help restrain the raccoon. (It’s me, I’m the raccoon)
Made it home yesterday evening from Anjunadeep Explorations after a LONG day of travel. Passed out soon after getting home and just woke up. Gonna take a few days to get over the jetlag. Had an amazing time, LOTS of people took pictures of/with me. Wonder if I’ll ever see any of them!
I guarantee you, the right scent to enhance my journey isn’t gonna be found in a store 🦝🩶🦨
