Listen to this: do you think there might be a few birds in this tree? Sound up!
Great day on the bike trail today and a 1st for me: I saw a porcupine! No pic though as it disappeared into the brush by the time I got my phone out. I was a little worried about poison ivy so I didn't want to go in after it!
My husband and I saw a dog running down the middle of a busy road. No one was stopping so we did and the dog hopped into the car. We were able to locate the owner after getting the microchip scanned!
There was a bit of a ring around the sun today, and some iridescent clouds!
🪶Since I got a new roof on the deck, the rafters have little "caves". I was cleaning out all the House Sparrow nests and putting up bird net when I happened upon these cuties! And I found 1 House Sparrow egg.
🌱 I do a lot of planters of flowers veggies and herbs, 25+ at least. I finally got them all done yesterday. I think this pot is going to be really nice once it fills in. Plant names in the alt text.
You can find unusual things at truck stops. Banana flip flops at a Love's.
Well, this is a different chipmunk than I have back home in Pittsburgh! 1st I've seen one, Thirteen-lined Ground Squirrel.🐿️
When I don't have a WIP that's appropriate for travel I pick yarn from my stash for a hat! Sometimes 2 hats!
Look at all these Cliff Swallows! This was a bridge near a dog park in Erie Colorado. 🪶
I was checking on my Robin nest and discovered all 3 eggs are gone. I suspect a crow got them.
Post a random cool car photo you took on another year, with no explanation. 2022
🧶 4th row of house blocks finished and attached. There will be 9 rows when finished. Pattern is Safe at Home.
🌱 I think I've learned how to dig an edging trench. I hope this helps keep the grass from growing into the garden bed. I am effing tired!
🪶 2nd egg! And I think this may be the last bc shortly after I took this photo she came and settled down onto the nest.
And may I present, the 1st egg! I like to imagine his feeding her was his way of saying "good job!"
