I'd name @aptshadow.bsky.social 's own "Spiderlight," for its depiction of the Human-Abomination dynamic largely from the abomination's POV. Futurama of course has the constant threat of Brain Slug infection. Luckily, they don't pull it off as well as they think.

Bear with me: There's a soviet Gorky film, Morozko (Jack/Father Frost) that I only know about because of MST3K. It may seem kind of silly in translation, but it's truly gorgeous to behold. Anyway, Father Frost rewards the heroine for her virtue with a dowry of gems that I would eat the pants off.
