My horses always know when I need extra support. PJ was especially kind and snuggly today. 💕💕
Thank you to everyone for your kind words about our beloved Misty’s passing. She was the first dog I got as an adult - my children were very young and Misty was already 3. She immediately loved my kids and was the most playful and protective girl. 💜 We were so lucky to have her as long as we did-
Our old lady, Misty, laid down in the sunshine for a nap and peacefully passed away today. She’s been with our family for almost 12 years and this was not completely unexpected. We were making plans and Misty took matters into her own paws. She will be missed.
On today’s episode of “My Cat is Weird” Nyx wrapped herself in the towel I keep by the back door to wipe dirty dog paws. She’s the reason we have to check under sofa cushions and blankets before we sit down - she is always under something 🤷♀️
I love waking up to this guy. Sabo is the best dog I know 💕💕

I got some cute little headbands for the horses and wanted pictures. I keep forgetting that LP has no sense of personal space lol
I’m trying so hard to make friends with this little miss - she’s very suspicious of me since I’m not her human. But somehow she trusts me enough to take little nibbles of rotisserie chicken from my hands lol
My little fuzzy best friend, Sabo, turned 3 today! I love this dog so damn much 💕💕
Friendly reminder: It’s almost firework time and if your dog (or cat or horse or whatever!) needs meds because they’re scared of the loud booms, now is the time to contact your vet!! Be safe 💕💕
So the peeps have become a bit of a theme for my barn - my mom sent me a box with a whole bunch of goodies for the horses. The large stuffed peep is from my bestie. Because this stuff is funny lol The horses are enjoying the bounty of marshmallows 💕
My sister and I got to do a meet and greet with Cary Elwes. 💕💕💕💕 One of my all time favorite actors and he’s so kind and funny and amazing. What a great evening!!!
Shockingly: none 😂😂 I might try to smuggle away my sister’s bunny, Stevie, though.
Not My Dog But I love her - she’s finally decided that we are friends and actively sought me out for loves 💕💕💕
Monkey Moo is the ultimate snuggle monster - he made a little nest out of my pillows last night and refused to move 😂😂 Also, after 8 long months, he finally knows his name 💕💕
Just for funsies we did a DNA test on LP. He’s a mix of 5 breeds, two of which I have never heard of lol Anyone want to take a guess at the breeds? He’s 14’2, not gaited, super duper smart, and from somewhere in SC. Or NC. 🤷♀️
No one warns you how hard it is to see the empty bucket, or their name on the feed board. My brain had me looking for both Ozzie and Roxie for a split second today. What’s that saying? Grief is just love with nowhere to go?
We very unexpectedly lost our beloved Ozzie today. Go hug your horse.
A friend of the barn sent us the 2lb peppermint stick off of our wishlist and PJ is thrilled 😂😂

He also asked about Freya, which is also wild to me - Freya came from an extreme abuse background and is usually scared of men. But she LOVES my landlord. He’s clearly a safe man in her eyes. But I made a promise to her - no new homes. She’s also besties with my old QH, You Know 💕
My barn landlord asked my son if I would ever consider selling LP My son told him he would have to pry this little red pony out of my cold dead hands 😂😂😂
