Used my old camcorder (which I hadn't used since my scarifying video on youtube!!!) with a welding glass filter blu-tacked on to look at the sun, worked well enough I think, and took a polaroid of the sky as it hit totality too... 😊
There was another one in a similar manner in 2011 not all that far from me with this;

I've a planter out in the yard, it's gone all green and funky too, must have been those knife-wielding slashers spreading their algae seeds at work... (or, it's standing water that's gone skanky and the heat we had here in the UK caused an algae bloom, as happens in dark containers!)
The anti-vaxx thing goes all the way back to the very first smallpox vaccine where people were dosed with the similar cowpox, and the anti-vaxxers of the time thought it was insane and that cows would spring out from the wounds, nothing's changed, they're still just as stupid now as back then...

In all seriousness, my £25 ice maker investment has paid off after only a few days, this weekend has been kept reasonably better thanks to that thing plopping out thimble-shaped icey chunks... 😁🧊

Back in November I had to use a laundrette in Newcastle for the first time in 30-odd years, cos the washer at home went on strike and I needed clean clothes to go see Amy Macdonald, was impressed with the modern machines getting my stuff washed and dried in under an hour!!! 😁
Yeah, yorkshire pudding wraps were good, not sure if it was a fad, but for a while they were amazing, my go-to being slow-cooked beef in gravy wrapped up in a large yorkshire pudding with a side of hand-cooked chips, but they also did a full roast dinner option too, so had everything in them!!! 😂
Sad that it even needed to be done at all, the US really needs to pull its' finger out of its backside over guns and school shootings...

I still think of the time I actually got a like from the lovely lady on the old place when people were making guesses as to what Seven said on the Enterprise-G to confirm her command to get moving, to say I was excited was an understatement!!! 😂
I mean, resistance is futile!!! 😂 (and she was introduced about the time a younger me became rather interested in "aesthetically pleasing" people, and then got dragged to disneyhell paris, in november, in the cold, dark miserable weather, when I could have been watching Voyager, for, er, reasons!)
