I just love this hotel, 15 years since I first came, sparks joy in my heart every time I come, quirky, friendly, fun, welcoming, good food, reasonably priced (for the haute Savoie anyway). Check out my dinner pals also.

Perhaps going for a 5km at midday in Lyon was unwise, now melting into a puddle in my hotel room, 34C and rising
Shocking that the boss of the previous top grifting community has found time to be annoyed about anything to do with the grifting society - I’d almost forgotten that devrel existed with the current fixation with AI. Irrelevance doesn’t even cover it.
Me: fuck it, I’m not gonna do a card today, may as well take a driver off the first Straight over the water, pitching wedge onto green, two taps for a par - golf is easy.
Not as bad as I thought, given I’ve not ran in a few weeks, a shock to the system obviously but fairly easy to maintain pace and the HR will drop once I start training again (assuming my knee is okay tomorrow)

She’s all refreshed from her nap. I am sodding knackered from working all day, let’s go for a walk then
After “singing the song of her people” as our vet calls it, all night long (normal after anaesthesia), it is finally time for sleep. For pecan anyway - nasty mouth lump removed and sent away for testing.
