My daughter has to do all these godawful business classes for her accounting degree. She had to make a "personal brand portfolio" which is like her personal hell, so we made it fun by packing some easter eggs in there.

The juxtaposition of the gigantic hyper capitalist ads and the twin red, white, and blue Jesus billboards with the wall to wall crowds is so dystopian in a way that's kind of embarrassing because it's so predictably where this story was going

Huge crowds completely fill the streets in New York City. Electronic billboards on the buildings overhead show an ad for a phone that says, "Samsung. The world's first privacy display." Two ads showing a picture of Jesus with red white and blue stripes coming out of his heart that says, "Jesus I trust in you." An ad for Coca-Cola. And an ad for M&Ms.

Unless the number of people you've fed, people you've housed, dearrests you've done, joints or cigarettes you've passed out, gardens you've grown, hours of free childcare you've provided, rides you've offered, video transcriptions you've written, needle exchanges and medical funds and cooperatives and bail funds and evacuation funds you've supported, forests you've physically defended, medications you've shared...

Is greater than the number of restaurants you've eaten in, vacations you've been on, bars you've drank in, stores you've been in without a mask, crowds you've been in without a mask, doctors offices you've been in without a mask, schools your children have been in without a mask.. just in the last four years..

Then idk I'm just really not interested in your opinion on "harm reduction"
