Occasionally check Amazon to see when new titles are coming out for things, and they have now been totally overrun by people taking what looks like out of copyright texts and slapping on horrifying AI covers.
So it is breezy and not so hot today, but we are basically stuck with the windows still closed and not able to play at the park because some really selfish assholes set fireworks off and lit an enormous fire nearby. Thanks, super, fantastic.

Fuck me. It apparently hit 34 in Manchester today. We made the correct decision to leg it to Liverpool for most of the afternoon then.

well that is horrifying! We stayed in a holiday home that had something like it but the lamp version. Obviously the kids refused to sleep in that room.

One of the highlights of our school run is the Mogpie! It has clearly been accepted into the mischief.
oh thank you! Everyone was so lovely. It was such a pleasure to hear what they are working on. Also. It was RIDICULOUSLY sunny. (Which made my habitual dash to Topping & Co a very pleasant experience.)
Now clearly telling me off for still mucking about with my slides instead of deciding to leave well enough alone.
They really do rustle up a welcome party in Edinburgh. It is even gently chatting to me.
Have dipped in and out several times. Past-me was firing on all cylinders. This is the good stuff.
