😎 Reader with an open mind seeking Time and Space. Hoping for changed hearts and minds and impatiently waiting for Karma to send me to a Better Place.
Another personal favorite by the Small Faces from 1968. Do you know it? Just resting in the Afterglow ....
My Aunt Edna, my mother's oldest sister, made this baby blanket for me when I was born (yes, it's very old).
I made this large embroidery tablecloth many years ago. It has found a new home.
Four of my mother's hand stitched quilts that are finding new homes with descendants. This clearing out process is good for me.
This was my mother's Christmas tablecloth. I had to let it go. So many years on the table in her house and mine. This may seem like a small thing, but it is tradition. However, I know it is only a piece of cloth. I let it go.
Tree Friends shared lunch with me. We talked about their struggles with water damage. Several reminded me how they redecorate through the seasons and it is ok to let those old leaves go. They insisted that there will be a better place for me soon.
Three (3) Boxen in the corral. That was all I could manage today. Lots of other things were done and now I have to walk away from it.
Through the last eight days of this ordeal, I have barely eaten. Stress, anger, anxiety, body pain etc together with living with two cats and EVERYTHING else, has made me very weak. I bought some chicken and chow mein and was able to hold it down. This was my fortune.
Creeper is encouraging me this morning. Seems the cats are realizing my temporary time here will be longer than expected.
I went out to the patio to rest and breathe. Felt something in my pocket. This fortune cookie message was there. No idea where it came from or got into my pocket. What an omen.
Last evening the sky was boldly aglow at dusk. Tonight it's a hazy light peach with not a cloud in sight. This reminds me to be more aware of my space and live in the moment, whether bold or hazy. We go up the mountain, we go back down. With a steady drum beat to set the pace.
